People have stalls giving away free food, ice cream, and cold drinks. Although throughout the day the grounds of Mae Jo University are buzzing, arriving at 1:30 would have been boring if I wasn’t with a group of friends. In my paranoia to get a good spot, I arrived way too early. The Thai people were as friendly as ever and if any of them minded us crashing their festival, they didn’t give any indication. This is the local Yi Peng and is free to attend. Yee Peng festival usually corresponds with Loi Krathong, another festival in which little lotus shaped floats made out of paper are released in a river to bring good luck.Ī lesser known fact about Yee Peng is that are two of celebrations. It is one of the top things you should do when backpacking Thailand. Buddhists believe that this washes away bad Karma and makes wishes come true.

4K is also known as UHD (Ultra High Definition) Currently, there only a few TV screens that are 4K-capable and even fewer desktop screens (althought the IMac retina is actually 5k), but 4K is the future, so by filming in 4K now, my content is future-proof.
A 4K video image is 4 times as large at 3840x2160. HD, or High definition video, is 1920x1080 pixels. What is 4K and why do I film in it? In order to understand 4K, we first need to understand what HD is.
4K is more than three times sharper than my computer screen can show, so the video will get better and better as the years go by as my equipment catches up.
